| Endobiogénie
is
a
new
approach to medicine developed by Christian
Duraffourd, M.D. and Jean-Claude Lapraz, M.D. who have been French
physicians for over 30 years, including the eight years they served as
oncobiologists in the Department of General Surgery and Oncology of a
leading hospital in Paris, France. Endobiogénie is based on a
refined
view of the endocrine system in its managing role over metabolisms and
functions. This approach addresses both the disease and the patient,
implementing global diagnostic techniques focused on the root cause of
the problem and recommending phytotherapeutic treatments predisposing
the body to undertake its own recovery. By looking at the endocrine system as the director of the relations and interrelations of the body’s systems, organs, tissues and cells to one another, recommendations can be made to assist the endocrine system in establishing and maintaining homeostasis. Endobiogénie is tailored to each patient and his/her specific health challenges. Born out of a daily practice involving thousands of patients and a large spectrum of conditions (including degenerative pathologies such as cancer), Endobiogénie has yielded significant results through the use of medicinal plants, essential oils and dietary supplements. An endobiogenic evaluation entails a detailed health history and specialized physical examination accompanied by an extensive set of blood tests. The health history includes evaluation of the patient’s heredity, physical and psychological development, life-style factors, as well as conscious and unconscious behaviors. The physical examination, performed by a health care professional trained in Endobiogénie, looks at indicators of the level of balance of the endocrine system in addition to standard medical examination parameters. The results of the laboratory blood tests are processed through a computerized program called Biology of Functions, creating an extensive list of over 150 indices unique to the patient. The indices indicate health risks and adaptation to those risks, as well as to the environmental challenges imposed upon each person. Upon completion of the endobiogenic evaluation, a personalized treatment plan including recommendations for herbs and supplements (tincture blends, herbal capsules, teas, vitamins, minerals, etc.), nutritional advice, and recommendations for changes in behavior and lifestyle is developed specific to the needs of each individual. |
